We arrived, staff seated us. Menus, Wine list on table. No waiting, we were served which was awesome! The staff was absolutely fantastic. The food yummy!!! Hubby had the porter house steak, I had seafood plate which was absolutely delicious. Hubby said his steak was cooked perfectly. IT IS WORTH every $$$ spent. Awesome cook, staff, service!One cannot ask for more!
Food ordered: Pickle Chips Seafood Platter for 1 Angus Rib Eye on the Bone 600g Dubai Choc Lave Cake Strawberry shortcake What delectable meals we experienced at The Larder, where do we start, from the generous portions to the delicious foods, you could not fault anything. First of all, pickle lovers you must try their pickle chips with ranch sauce! I had the steak and it was cooked to my liking, it was so thick and juicy and huge. You then had the choice of choosing 2 sides. My partner loved his Seafood Platter, calamari was tender and everything else was bursting with flavour. They had a gorgeous list of cocktails and the Dubai Chocolate Lava Cake was sensational. The Larder Kitchen is now my top place to eat in Victor Harbor!
Absolutely loved it! The steak was cooked to perfection, easily one of the best we’ve had in a long time. This place is a true hidden gem. The service was outstanding, and the relaxed, chilled vibe made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
We had our first visit and it was amazing. It was my birthday dinner with my wife and kids and they made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The service was impeccable and the food even better. We all loved our meals, thank you.
The seafood we had in this lovely restaurant was excellent, I had the seafood linguine which had lovely delicate seafood aromas and taste. My wife had the generous seafood platter for one; lovely quality with a variety of shell fish and a fish fillet. All this was perfectly paired with the bird in the hand sparkling. The meal as a whole was perfectly proportioned and delightful.
The beef cheek was sent from the heavens, it was sublime! The duck pappadelle rago was amazingly tender and filling. Fantastic atmosphere, comfortable, great service, the staff were happy and pleasant. Great music, comfortable seating. Just a delightful place to eat. Next time you're in Victor Harbor this place is a must visit!
Omg everything here just soooo good! I’m so glad that we picked this restaurant, instead of other cafes! Love the vibe, their food is so good!!! And drinks! You can tell they make it with heart, every single details, ingredients n spice got treated properly! Happy about everything that we ordered! Love your food (mussel n pipi was sooo good)! N love your drink (I ordered a strawberry watermelon lychee mocktail).
A most enjoyable meal and evening. Our host Sienna was wonderful, warmly friendly & able to answer all questions. A menu with great descriptions for each item. No chowder on the menu tonight, sadly. Coffin Bay oysters to start, delish. Catch of the Day, SA King George Whiting, tempura & salad. Not actually tempura, however sooo tasty. Coconut & Ginger Trio, Moreton Bay bug, pipi’s, prawns in a well flavoured coconut cream sauce & rice. A really enjoyable dish. My preference would be for a firmer rice on the side, helping the seafood to shine. A must visit restaurant.
This restaurant is located on the Esplanade in central Victor Harbor. Four of us enjoyed a selection of delicious food from perfectly cooked steak to very good baked ravioli. Salads, sides and desserts were all delicious too. Staff were lovely and very attentive, decor was comfortable and attractive. Plenty of seating for small or large groups. I recommend this restaurant. 👍👍👍
